We do not believe in the concept of safety from ideas here. So if you are in search of a room where the moderators stand ready to shelter you from unfavoring and even insulting positions, then this will not be the club for you. 

All are welcome regardless of race, religion, creed and orientation, but men will command the floor. Women will certainly contribute at times, and respect is the standard whenever they grace the stage, but TCM is unapologetically a coliseum for men. 

The topics crafted by this club and the discussions that take place within its rooms will be challenging. Many who participate may be “triggered”after hearing some of the coarse and jagged viewpoints of its members and visitors. That said, those who are acutely affected by harrowing discussions, are reminded that leaving quietly is always a recourse. There's no shame in seeking respite if truly troubled. 

As for those who remain, for those who stay and bear through it, you will be calloused. We will become far more adept at managing divergent observations and heterodox opinions. We will become accustomed to being unsettled and subsequently more practiced in disagreeing.
