Description
To state that Scripture is truthful is to make a statement about God. God is truthful, the Bible is his self-revelation to humanity, so the Bible is truthful. Our confidence in Scripture rests on the author God, therefore we affirm that it is true even in cases where we have not yet verified that truth.
Bible is the 66 books of the Old Testament and New Testament verbally inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17), inerrant in the original manuscripts. Bible is inerrant in reporting all the history, spiritual, ethical, and moral implications. Bible is the supreme authority in faith and life.
