The Plotting room is going on Hiatus. However, Insatiable Writers will be continuing the room with our blessings. Please go there in the meantime.

HOW IT WORKS?

This is a brainstorming factory for writers.

Every two weeks a club member will send out an outline for other members to read and give supportive feedback. Every other week, the room is open for all members to talk about plot issues.

The group lasts for one hour.

To join this group, you must be referred by a member of this group.

Please can members of the group backchannel me with their email addresses so I can share google drive documents?
Be Kind and Respectful: Kindness is the secret to your success. This group does mean maintaining a degree of empathy for the writer who has been courageous in sharing something they have created for others’ scrutiny. When you comment on a plot you are holding someone’s dream in your hands. Please don’t ever forget that.

Be respectful that everyone is in different genres and on different journeys. Every genre has different rules and conventions. Please try to be open to suggestions without being dismissive or hostile.
Member Confidentiality: Member Confidentiality is essential. This should go without saying but do not steal ideas, or talk about other's work outside the room. Like Vegas, what happens in here, stays in here.
Your story, your rules.: The person with the outline gets final say in ideas they will or will not implement.
