Technological and economic development, population growth, ageing populations and other societal trends are putting people and assets in jeopardy. Safety and resilience at a global scale is a theme of growing interest, hence the need for Global Societal Resilience. GSR is a candidate for a fourth age of safety and security. GSR should include political and sustainable societal development. Everybody should be invested in resilience capacity building now if we are to become a more resilient society. This club has been created to encourage all involved in resilience capacity building globally to meet and discuss experiences and challenges from the grass roots up.
