Description
Higher education is in desperate need of our voices and perspectives. First, they must honor us! Student affairs professionals of color are navigating higher education, a schooling system designed in part to keep them out.
The hope and resiliency of people of color is not enough to keep them in this field. We need real plans and real strategies to thrive in academia.
Let’s create space to ask tough questions and have conversations that help BIPOC SApros overcome the trauma of burn out and compassion fatigue suffered in survival mode. Let’s move toward thriving together!
