Being, oh being, what art thou?
A mere abstraction or a reality now?
An essence, a substance, or a thing we know?
Or a concept that in our minds doth grow?
Existence, thou art the root of all,
Without thy presence, there'd be no call,
For life, for love, for joy or pain,
Thy essence doth make us whole again.
Infinite, yet finite, a mystery profound,
A realm of being that we've yet to sound,
A universe within, a cosmos without,
The essence of being, we're still without.
Being, oh being, we strive to know,
The depths of thy nature, thy essence to show,
For in thy presence, we find our worth,
The very ground of our life on earth.
In the flow of time, we stand alone,
A being unique, to ourselves unknown,
Yet in the realm of being, we're all one,
A cosmic unity that's never undone.
Being, oh being, we bow to thee,
The mystery of life, the essence of free,
In thy embrace, we find our rest,
And in thy presence, we are truly blessed.
