Niranthara foundation is a theatre group of Mysuru Karnataka, established in the year 1999 The foundation believes that theatre is the only media which can influence the people greatly. Keeping this in mind, knowing the capacity and strength of theatre as a media they are emphasising to expand human values through theatre productions, theatre camps and workshops, theatre documentation and many other meaningful theatre activities in and around Mysore and Karnataka.

Niranthara has organized many cultural and thought-provoking critical seminars. It worked on water and sanitation with great concern. The result of the initiatives taken by the trust has aroused awareness in the people through documentary films, workshops, poster-making camps, street plays, the publication of books and artistic exhibition stalls.
Every year the foundation is conducting a National Theatre Festival Niranthara Ranga Utsava, which has become a premier theatre festival of Karnataka.
