SOAS JCR
This is a club for SOAS and ‘SOAS-aligned’ alumni. Think of it as the online version of the JCR. Everything is said, little is done, and in this beautiful chaos comes a lot of joy and learning.
Set up rooms to talk about anything you would have once shared a coffee and missed a tutorial over, such as:
- Is BIPOC or BAME terminology defeatist?
- Is the VC infiltration in Asia and Africa causing gender disparities?
- How long have the samosas been there?
- Is it ever appropriate to ask that guy if he was in that Nollywood Movie?
As alumni, reality has bitten. Please do also use this alumni group to network for business and share knowledge (which, apparently, is still power).
