Undefeated on Clubhouse

In the year 2011, in a 53-country Gallup poll, Nigerians were rated at 70 points for optimism.
Looking back now, after all these years, one may be forced to really question the results of that poll, what with the killings and deaths, evident and blatant corruption, insecurity and high rate of depression, extreme poverty and debilitating hunger that seems to hold the country and her denizens to ransom.
It will be quite hard to be optimistic with these drastic turn of events. A lot of young persons today, are falling into depression than ever seen before, with suicide rates skyrocketing in the country and many persons feeling more disillusioned and apathetic to life.

With the horizon looking so bleak and gloomy, The Undefeated Movement was born out of a desire to help brighten that gloomy landscape with touches of vibrant colours to help uplift and encourage people to be better versions of themselves.
The concept of being undefeated does not indeed translate to mean the absence of loss and pain.
Taking an excerpt from a quote by Wilma Rudolph, "...Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday"
It is on this premise that the Undefeated Movement was founded to lead people on the road to self discovery and development. To assist and guide individuals to foster and maintain grit and perseverance while going after their goals. After all, you can not stay undefeated without being a little stubborn and driven.

We aim to contribute our own quota in putting the smiles back in the faces of people and creating awareness on critical issues, steering the conversation towards development.
