Anti-Racism for Whites on Clubhouse
Description
This Club is to disseminate anti-racism education for white people, by white people. Too often, Black people are put in the position of doing the labor to educate white people on racist behaviors, systems, and concepts. This space, while open to all, will be dedicated to anti-racist education for white people.
Content warning - this space will have white people speaking openly and challengingly about racism in potentially harmful language.
No overt racism: This room is for anti-racist education. I expect push back and for ideas and concepts to be challenged respectfully, but no deliberately disparaging remarks will be tolerated
Let people finish speaking : When invited to the stage you will have a chance to speak, and to reply to other speakers, wait your turn
Have thick skin : Some ideas will be challenging to your worldview, accept the idea that you may be wrong about some things and that your lived experience is not everyone's lived experience
