Shama on Clubhouse
Description
Shama, a Blin word for ‘communal assembly’, is a space where ideas matter, and we are encouraged to challenge our sociopolitical understanding of the domestic and diasporic Eritrean context. It aims to contribute towards bringing various voices and perspectives by shedding light on everything from forced migration and transnationalism, peace, security and development to organized crimes and state violence. In doing so, Shama will host expert interviews, panel discussions with Eritrean academics and professionals as well as ‘experts by experience’.
