🌙 Welcome to New Crescent Society, Astronomy and Islam group.
🌙 NCS celebrates the relationship between Islam, Astronomy and faith. We co-deliver the monthly ‘Astronomy and Islam’ programme at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Currently working on a unified lunar Islamic calendar in the UK.
🌙 We have had a huge increase in the number of people involved in moonsighting in the UK with a demand for space where people can discuss wider topics around Astronomy and Islam, share ideas, ask questions, and connect with other enthusiasts in the UK.
