A club focused on issues affecting the African Diaspora through the lens of Black Queerness & Black Femininity. A Semi-Safe Space.

The color Aqua represents peace, growth, energy, within balance & stability. Our intersectional portion of the Black Community has specific challenges and needs, and these concepts represent the change AQuA strives to invoke within it.

This club discusses topics to encourage vulnerability and therefore promote healing within the Black LGBTQ+ community and subsequently the African Diaspora, at large.

Topics may vary, but will always be related to the Black Femme and/or Black Queer Experience.

AQuA welcomes and encourages ALL members of the African Diaspora, who will be respectful in this journey to promote healing. This includes Accomplices of the Black Queer community who may be Cisgender and/or Heterosexual.

Black Women, especially, Black Trans Women and Black Trans people are respected, uplifted, and protected here.
One Mic!: Please keep yourself muted if you’re not speaking. If you fail to do so, you will be muted by a moderator.
Be Respectful: Not all will agree w/ you, however some topics are not about agreement; they’re rooted in people’s identities. Keep this is mind. Opinions are opinions and facts are facts. Respect lived experience.
