BIPOC Cannabis Activism on Clubhouse

Description

The BIPOC Cannabis Activism group is focused on having discussions and interactions around how BIPOC and allies can affect actual change in the systems of society that discriminate or discourage BIPOC from opening and participating in cannabis legalization. We will discuss topics that affect the ability to enter the cannabis industry like discriminatory law enforcement, lack of community support and real estate racism/discrimination. Each discussion will focus on certain topics and the moderators of this group will make sure our collective ideas are being put into motion. This is not a group where we discuss activism this is a group where we collaboratively attack discriminatory systems by discussing issues while also coming up with solutions to those issues so we can make an impact on the discrimination happening in the cannabis (and related) industry.
Check Your Privilege: This group is welcome to non-BIPOC allies. Be mindful about your input and where those belief systems are rooted and if you are called out you should make an effort to listen and respond.
