This is a safe space created in order to begin to Exist and more than that - LIVE - outside the scope of the Multi-Layered Abuse that is “Whiteness”. A space for Education, for DEEP and honest Self reflection, for internal abolishment, for deconstruction, for the retracing of ACTUAL identities and for HUMANISATION
Radical Honesty and Self Reflection: To strip oneself of identity feels like self harm - it is to cut a proverbial part of oneself off. The irony is that this is true liberation. But it requires a level of honesty only children have
NO GASLIGHTING : Gaslighting is a weapon intrinsically linked to whiteness and the ideological delusion of whiteness as better. 2 strikes & you’re out the club. There will be NO CODDLING
Sitting with Discomfort / Honour : Sitting with discomfort is necessary for liberation. Instead of judgement - context is sought for deconstruction to occur. We will honour each other’s courage, bravery and journey to new identity
