Description
This is a space to unlearn and learn more about the aboriginal and tribal communities of India. From culture to the issues they are facing, we want to hear from those working on the ground and the lived experiences of our Adivasi sisters and brothers. Please bring your genuine curiosity and questions to our rooms. Be sensitive and respectful in the process.
Rule #1: Respect and sensitivity: We want to listen to speakers with all view points but disrespect and insenstivity shall not be tolerated in any form.
Rule #2: No slurs and casteist comments: Please educate yourself on the right way to address communities and people. Use words like oppressed communities, adivasis, aboriginals etc.
Rule #3: No pro-caste or pro-reservation talk: Please dont bring these topics to derail the conversation unless it is to make a meanigful contribution to the discussion that adds nuance and depth.
