House of Illusions is an indie film production company founded by Dalton, film critic, with the primary purpose of allowing talented newcomers with sensible /meaningful ideas and intentions a chance to get a break /foothold into the filmmaking universe.

The debut feature film of House of Illusions was selected by 9 IMDb-rated international film festivals; 7 in the first 2.5 months, just before the whole world froze.

Quintessentially, this is a community comprising a variety of film folks ranging from National Film Award winning film directors, cinematographers, editors, technicians, actors, musicians; and international film festival jury members, curators, and festival directors; to rank amateurs and newbies waiting for a break.

Philosophy: Give before you take. If you have nothing to give, at least, be a nice person. Money making is NOT a criterion. So, honestly, if you’ve come here hoping to make some quick riches, you’re in the absolutely wrong place.

House of Illusions would be setting up juries and presenting citation awards at three film festivals this year. It also runs a film magazine of, by, and for, film folks, ‘Cinematic Illusions’. And screens films and conducts film appreciation classes for the public under the banner ‘Cinema Society of India’.
