The Indian Journal of International Arbitration (IJIA) is an annual online peer-reviewed journal with an aim to promote scholarly engagement on international arbitration and allied areas, so as to promote and strengthen the practice of institutional arbitration.
It is one of the few journals which focuses specifically on institutional arbitration as the core area of scholarship and encourages contributions on different topic which are related to it.
The journal while an entity created and operated under the aegis of the ICIA, has an independent functioning. It however shares the vision of ICIA in promoting institutional arbitration in India.
The journal aims to have contributions from practitioners, students, academicians, and other subject matter experts, etc.
It will have a peer-reviewed process for selection of the contributions which go into the journal. This will ensure that quality scholarship is promoted.
Each issue shall contain (i) articles, which shall analyse contemporary issues relating to domestic and international arbitration. (ii) notes, which will cover recent legislative development and judicial developments and (iii) book reviews.
