Bored Ape Ladies Club on Clubhouse

BALC was founded by @Novocrypto right after the launch of the official Bored Ape Yacht Club in May 2021 with the aim of increasing female representation amongst Bored Apes and to support and promote NFT artists who don’t own an OG ape.

Bored Ape Lady Modelling Residency Program also won the community grant by BAYC giving it a chance to grow even bigger and result in the formation of a multisig artists collective and DAO.

Every month, 12 “apeless” artists are invited to apply to join the collective and work with the Club’s OG ape and mutant models (owned by Novocrypto) to create distinctly female derivate bored apes. Not all of these apes are ladies though, some are witches, some are fairies, partners in crime, babe bosses, badass bitches, sistas, mamas, even grannies and what not! These “Roles” have the potential to be gamified in the future.
