މި ކްލަބް އުފެދުނީ ޕޮލިސިސްޓިކް އޯވަރީ ސިންޑްރޯމް (PCOS) / ޕޮލިސިސްޓިކް އޯވަރީ ޑިސީޒް (PCOD) ގެ ޢަލާމާތްތަކާއި ބަލި ތަޙައްމަލް ކުރަމުންދާ ކަނބަލުން އެއްތަންވެ އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް ހިތްވަރުދީ މިބައްޔާގުޅުންހުރި އިރުޝާދުތައް ލިބިގަނެ ބަލިން ފަސޭހަވުމަށް ކުރެވިދާނެ ކަންތައްތަކާއި އަމިއްލަ ތަޖުރިބާ އެކަކުއަނެކަކާއި ޙިއްސާކޮށްލުމަށެވެ.
This club was created for the women experiencing PCOS/PCOD who can come together for advices, to support & encourage each other, to share their own experience and tips to manage this common syndrome.
Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), also known as Polycystic Ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder affecting 5% to 10% of women in the age group 12–45 years. It can cause problems with menstrual periods and make it difficult for her to conceive. The principal features include no ovulation, irregular periods, acne and hirsutism. If not treated it can cause insulin resistant diabetes, obesity and high cholesterol leading to heart disease.
Talks can be hosted by the members of the club only and merely shall be on the topic of pcod/pcos.
Subjects of discussion can include diagnosis stories, struggles, hirsutism, mental health issues related to pcos, menstrual cycle issues, infertility, weight gain/loss, dietary advices, etc!
While in the Club please make yourself comfortable with a pleasant pillow 🤍
