Description

A continental group with a focus of getting members into grassroot government positions across Africa. We can only change things for the better if the people representing us act in our collective interest. We believe the positive impact of our party at the local and state level will build support that will catapult us to the regional, national and continental level.

This is a space for ideas, brainstorming, solutions and action. Not just opinions and debate. We work towards the reality we desire for the African continent.

In his early thirties and four years as the President of Burkina Faso, Thomas Isadore Sankara showed Africans that as long as we use products we don't produce, call foreigners to build our roads and fund our businesses, let our governments be controlled by imperialists and consume food grown by non-Africans, we are not free.

He made large reforms towards women's rights and education for all. He led his people to build national infrastructure without foreign assistance, achieve food self-sufficiency, greatly reduced government officials' salaries and allowances (including his own), and encouraged the citizens of Burkina Faso to patronise Burkinabe goods and live modestly.

Sankara effectively transformed Burkinabe's living standards for the better in such a short time and was killed for it by murderous, greedy, power-hungry European governments in collaboration with some African betrayers for fear that his ideas would spread across the continent.

Today, we revive his work and his vision with Sankara as we move the African continent towards a better place where we are proud of what is ours instead of all things foreign.

(Note that a focus country for some of the first few goals is Nigeria in the since its citizens make up a large part of the continent but most objectives apply to all African nations)
