Globally, preeclampsia affects 1 in 12 of 131 million pregnancies. It is one of the most common complications of pregnancy and can lead to fatal complications. Allyson Felix is an elite Olympian who was diagnosed at 32-weeks pregnant with severe preeclampsia. We discuss the science in simple terms and how you can help to make preeclampsia history.
