Amhara people are the most populous indigenous ethnic group in Ethiopia. Traditionally inhibiting the northern highlands in areas such as Gondar, Shewa, Gojam & Wello (ቤተ አማራ). The meaning of Amhara Nationalism is to put that identity first.
