Third culture kids, immigrants, refugees, polygot, 1st generation+, and the rest of the diaspora share a diasporic culture. We’ve created our own way in life, now let’s share how to best support each other’s efforts!

The African Union considers the African Diaspora its 6th Region. (North African, East Africa, South Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, & the African Diaspora w/ about 200 million people in the African Diasporas)

There are 20 million people in the Indian Diaspora making them the largest of the diasporas. Followed by the Mexican Diaspora and Russian Diaspora (12 million each)

2/3 of the diasporas live in high-income countries & the diasporas sends $625 Billion in remittances a year.
Do we do it because we have to? Survivors guilt? Investments? Or is it to better support our families “back home”? Where is home? Is an identity crisis a coming of age tale for the diasporas? What’s culture? What’s community? Why are our parents still ....? Am I the only person experiencing this?
