Hello and welcome to The P.I.T. Stop! This space was created with you in mind and it is necessary because the journey to purpose is lined with pit stops!” The P.I.T. Stop is an extension of the Prayer & Intercessory Training Academy Global LLC. The P.I.T. Stop exists to pamper, protect and provide a healing space for anyone with a passion for prayer, and a desire for learning and growing in relationship with God and God’s word. We are sensitive to those who have been wounded on their journey, so we are working to create a place for reflection, retreat, reset, and reboot. If you, or someone you know is experiencing a pitfall on their journey, then the P.I.T. Stop is the place to be. Also, if you are a member of the family and you’re interested in hosting a room please submit a request via the back channel, or email: [email protected]. Be sure to include the room topic you’re interested in, the proposed time and any co-mods you have identified to host alongside you. Additionally, here we are interested in hosting dialogue you are interested in so, if you have questions and/or conversation topics you would like to suggest, by all means do so!
Here are some rules of engagement!
Love & Respect: As we engage each other in conversation we want to foster healthy habits in dialogue, avoiding condescending remarks and/or aggression. Love must be demonstrated and prioritized at all times.
Honor: We must seek to honor the lived experiences of others and develop healthy ways to posit alternative points of view. We do this by privileging the voices of the unheard and underrepresented.
Empathy: Prioritize displays of empathy by being a safe person and cultivating safe spaces with whom and where persons enjoy sharing.
