Our mission is the liberation of the hearts, minds and bodies of melanated men and women through the healing power of sacred sexuality, with a focus on the connection and love between black women and black men.

The Black Tantra Group was created to introduce the transformative practices and principles of Tantra and Sacred Sexuality to those in the African Diaspora who are ready to reclaim and explore their Tantric birthright. We focus on Active Tantra which is one of many forms in Tantra. Active Tantra utilizes non-evasive touch and non-touch techniques that elicit transformative breakthroughs either on an energetic, emotional and or physical level.

You’re welcome to come to our events, whether you’re newly re-discovering your Tantric birthright, looking to expand your Tantric knowledge and experience, are ready to open up, raise and expand your consciousness, meditate, or connect and share your beautiful spirit with others. Events are open to singles and couples alike.

Our retreats and workshops are specifically designed for our people of the African Diaspora. Many of our ancestors were prisoners of war – they were stolen artisans, scientists, doctors, storytellers, and spiritualists. In the Black Tantra Group, we provide a safe and sacred space to heal the trauma and wounds still present from violence, whether it be physical, sexual or psychological; to give support against displacement and inequity as we work to bring forth our best selves. The pain, struggle, sacrifices, and prayers of our ancestors for our arrival at this time are not in vain. For when we heal ourselves, we heal those who came before us as well as those who shall come after us.
