The purpose of The Joining Game is to join on what we have in common and play to integrate our differences.
Our games in October are 90 min from 12-130pm ET, everyday except Mondays.

Follow the newest member: It's hard to be the newest person in a group. Follow the lead of the newest person to join the conversation. This makes it easier to integrate all voices.
When you're done speaking say "anyone else?": The purpose of the group is to join on similarities. By asking "anyone else?" when you're done speaking you can invite others who have similar experiences to join you.
Ask before bringing in a difference: If you want to change the topic or disagree with the last person to speak, ask the group if it's ready for a difference. This is how we integrate different perspectives without interrupting the flow of discussion.
