About the Festival

India International Short Film Festival is a link in the chain of global film culture. We want to celebrate diversity, maintain democracy, freedom, love and peace. We want to increase critical thinking and create opportunities and platforms for voices from divided and oppressed communities.

We have no facility and no infrastructure but we have abundance of creativity, talent and a network of wonderful friends in the film and media world. We thought we could come together to promote great films and great film makers who need global visibility, so we are here with the first edition.

Our Mission

IISFF 2021 stands with a mission to promote contemporary short films from all over the world to international viewers so that the best cinema gets worldwide attention and opportunities for the films and film makers.

Our History

We have a long and proud history of promoting art and artists around the world. With a network of allies from Europe to USA, we have conducted events that promote artists from all walks of life and get the much needed visibility to their creativity and art. We recently did the India International Spiritual Art Festival 2021 which was a grand success. Art lovers from 32 countries visited the online exhibition. The prestigious international festival is aimed at bringing the best short films and film makers around the world into the forefront and give them the visibility and much needed opportunities to showcase their talent to the world.

The festival is categorized into four genres – Women, Special Children, Differently Abled and LGBTQI+. Submissions to the festival start from August 25th 2021.
