When Immigration Is Trauma: The Purpose Of This Club Is To Provide A Safe Place For Immigrants To Recognize Stressors And Suppressed Emotions As A Result Of A Fight For Survival In Foreign Countries. In Many Respects, Immigration Is Trauma. It Is A Complete Loss Of Identity And Familiarity. In An Intergenerational Context, Children Of Immigrants Tend To Show Higher Rates Of Anxiety And Depression.
