JMF Academy supports students, such as first generation college students, with successfully completing their academic journey. I share lessons learned from my academic and professional experiences to foster awareness and discussion of common obstacles students and professionals face. We will discuss various topics based on the focus of the day and issues raised by others. Let’s share perspectives, our understanding, and resources, if any,

JMF Academy will also feature other guests who address various challenges experienced by students, teachers, and others. Listen and engage to identify potential solutions, while sharing tips and best practices to manage and overcome identified obstacles. I would love to hear your thoughts and experience.

About Me:

My name is Dr. Jennifer M. Felder. I am a Howard University and Virginia State University graduate. At both institutions I sustained matriculation while working full time and serving on various student organizations executive boards. I also gained experience teaching an undergrad course at Howard. Additionally, I have about 19 years work experience in various industries, feel free to look me up on LinkendIn.

Expertise from these experiences and life, and others inform my shares and JMF Academy’s areas of focus.
For example, I gained insight and hands on experience in various areas, including:
