"Ethio Chronicle" በኢትዮጵያ ማኅበረ‐ፖለቲካ ዙሪያ ነፃ ውይይት የሚደረግበት ፕላትፎርም ነው።

ፕላትፎርማችን ላይ ሲሳተፉ ሐሳብዎን ሲቪል ሆነው እስከገለጹ እና ማኅበረሰብን በጅምላ ከሚፈርጁ ንግግሮች እስከተቆጠቡ ድረስ ያለምንም ተጽእኖ በሙሉ ነፃነት ሐሳብዎን መግለጽ እንደሚችሉ፣ በሐሳብ ልዩነትዎ ምክንያት "ከቦ እንዲያናግርዎ"ም ሆነ "bully" እንዲያደርግዎ የሚፈቅድለት ማንም ግለሰብ ሆነ ቡድን እንደማይኖር እርግጠኛ መሆን ይችላሉ!

Our ethical and political principles:

⑴ Ethio Chronicle strongly believes it can facilitate and hold space for multiple socio‐political topics that are pertinent to Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa.

⑵ Community members are free to participate in any conversation facilitated in this club. We encourage dialogue, value choice, autonomy, and agency of invidivuals and collectives.

⑶ Discussions may sometimes get heated because of differences in opinion, understanding, experiences, knowledge and perceptions; we encourage community members or participants to address the issue and not attack the person raising or disagreeing with it.

⑷ Our intentions are always to explore non‐violent routes to think through Ethiopian political, cultural and economic issues. We may not always agree on approaches & tonality, but we must remember that respect for humanity and humanitarian values is radically significant.

⑸ Though we do not censor free expression, we will never allow hate speech & blanket labeling on any community. We will immidiately take appropriate measures available on this platform to address those who are perpetraters of hate speech and violence.
