Welcome to Ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses! 🎉

We are thrilled to give you a warm welcome to this space. 

Our mission is to provide community and conversation around topics that relate to our individual and collective experiences as former Jehovah’s Witnesses.

To that end, we will be working hard to ensure that we align our actions with that purpose. These Community Guidelines should not only help you understand how to act within the community but also help you understand what to expect from others in this space. 

If you are thinking of joining, please know that this club aims to protect the space to the strictest degree we possibly can. Therefore, the creators will not ever record, ask for permission to record, or take screenshots of the room while it is in session, and we ask you to agree to the same in order to honor each other and especially those who may be considering “leaving” being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

We say this to honor everyone who may be curious about the group - if you are currently a Jehovah’s Witness with no intention of leaving, there are undoubtedly rooms and clubs here on the Clubhouse app that serve you and your community, and if not, we encourage you to build those spaces independently.
No recording and no screenshots.: Please respect the privacy of those in the group and recognize that this is intended to be a safe space for all, including those who may not yet be “out”.
One microphone.: One microphone means that we allow the individual speaking to finish their time with “I’m done speaking” before others begin to speak.
