Description

The Brilliant Minds Collective advocates for the Advancement of Black People globally. Our group, mostly Black professionals from the breadth of the diaspora, was initially created while searching for answers about police brutality. Black People regularly face overwhelming social and systematic challenges such as social injustice, financial insecurities, education inequalities and lack of health and human services. Brilliant Minds Collective wants to not only provide answers and information but to open doors for educated and experienced leaders, doers and drivers to engage the community to make meaningful lasting change economically, environmentally and politically. When we share knowledge and information with each other and take action, we become a better people by creating opportunities that would not have otherwise existed.

As Black People, we have a tendency to work in silos. Working as a group or a community is in many cases a real challenge for us. Brilliant Minds Collective creates opportunities for engagement and economic advancement. We are willing to break out of individual silos, engage in difficult conversations, share knowledge, exchange information, and take action. There's an old African proverb that says “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” This group is filled with brilliant minds who share an every day commitment to create a better world for our People by exploring opportunities which become catalysts for permanent change.
