MEMBERSHIP IS BY APPROVAL, and you need a public Instagram account (where your work is clearly displayed) connected to your Clubhouse, and a filled out bio on clubhouse in order to join (unless I already know you from elsewhere).

Everyone is welcome to join a room, but not everyone is welcome as a member. There are quality standards in this club.

Even if you checked all the requirements above, but your work is unrelated to the topics of this club, or plain mediocre, you won't be approved into this club.

Treat it as an artist's guild. The Founder & Leaders can vote people out if we decide their art is unrelated to the topics of this club or mediocre.

✔ We will discuss all kinds of traditional artistry and craftsmanship. The club is open to artists working with: photography (digital and film), drawing, painting, textile art, mask making, luthiery, printmaking, art cinema/art film, mosaic, engraving, stop motion animation, ceramic, tattooing, linocut, woodcut, etching, encaustic, sculpture, design, fashion design, basrelief, carving, mandala, glass blowing, paper marbling, crochet, embroidery, geometric pattern making, etc.

✖ We won't discuss any new media, therefore, no NFT, performance, CGI, ready-made, tiktoks, digital animation, digital art, anime, game design, zentangle, etc.

➰ We have a STRICT NO NFT POLICY.

➰ The discussion will be all about art and artists, with an educational mindset.

➰ LEADERS, you can start rooms! All I ask is that you make me (Medicine Madison) a moderator as well if I happen to join, and please discuss traditional art and not new media, since this club is for traditional art as described above.

➰ Everyone is welcome to speak as long as they are sharing valuable art related insights for the audience.

➰ An artist discussing about oneself may tell stories only if they are relevant to their art or relevant and valuable for the audience. No random small talk, no random "oh how bad my life is" episodes. Just serious, educational art talk every traditional artist will love.

➰ The goal is to showcase the importance of traditional art and craftsmanship in our overly technological world. Our hands can create wonders. Let's allow them to work.

➰ There will be a rooms for each category of traditional arts. There will also be general rooms.
Stay on topic: This club is about traditional art forms only, not digital art, NFT, anime, game design, ready-made, performance etc. The goal is to showcase traditional fine art and fine craftmanship: hands on work.
Be insightful/educational, provide value.: You may talk about yourself as an introduction or if it is relevant to your art and the audience. Talk about your art, art in general or artist problems is perfectly ok, please no talking about life.
Be respectful. : This is a place for dialogue and serious discussions and serious questions about art. It is not a place to insult others. However, critique is highly encouraged as long as it is constructive.
