As a survivor of Domestic Violence myself, I find that it is important to connect with others that have been through similar experiences in hopes of helping others cope, find their patterns and even to aid others in finally taking the leap to leave. We have to stop being silent about what goes on behind those closed doors. It’s time to drag those monsters into the light! If you don’t speak it, you don’t heal from it! Most importantly, finding your pattern takes time. You have to talk it out in order to see what not to do again. It’s also important to know where you go wrong in terms of choosing your partners.
