WELCOME TO BITE SIZED CHUNKS
This house is about taking action. We pontificate ad nauseum about the problems and who is to blame for them. We KNOW what the problems are.
Solution oriented actions are the roadblock to getting things done. Solutions are MUCH more difficult than recognizing a problem, complaining about it and blaming someone else for it.
It is easy to get overwhelmed, cynical, bitter and angry. So let’s NOT try to save the world with rhetoric. Let’s move the bar an inch at a time in Bite Size Chunks
If enough of us do that, we can get big things done.
We ask that you bring your ideas AND to tell us what you are actively doing or have done. What has worked, what has failed? What do you need help with?
We complain about politicians, in particular congress and the President. That has to stop. Complaining does not fix problems.
If our representatives are lacking in ideas and solutions, it is up to us to either RUN for office ourselves or to actively present our representatives possible solutions that WE have thought out.
That is what bite sized chunks is all about. Starting to design solutions using REAL critical thinking. That means means first and foremost, looking inward at areas where our OWN bias may be preventing us from seeing a path to a solution OTHER than to blaming someone else.
Yes, we WILL sometimes disagree on methods, but when we do, let’s work together to improve methods and provide resources and inspiration to each other. This is going to be hard work. Let’s get to it.
Please follow the club and let others know about it. You never know who might have an idea we have not considered before.
Rule #1: This is a club for discussing solutions, not another one about problems. Bring a solution your neighborhood, city, county or state or org. has used to solve a problem. What worked, what didn’t?
Rule #2: Show respect. No bullying, interrupting or shaming. If you behave like a child in here you will be treated like one. We may have serious disagreements and perspectives, but we can talk about it.
