Estate planning ensures you are equipped with up to date and correct legal documents that pertains to you and your estate. In short, as long as you have assets you should be looking to protect them in the event you are unable or unwilling to.

Is future planning for you, points to consider:
• Share your wishes for future care - use power of NOW to provide informed consent.
• Protect your family and beneficiaries from the impact of inheritance tax.
• Help those you trust make decisions on ‘What’s important to you’ when unavailable.
• A chronic medical condition may suddenly worsen or could lead to an acute illness.
• Need urgent support for instance having/experiencing the after effects of COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2 and other variants.
• Incidents/accidents that may land you in a debilitating state or non compos mentis due to accidents like road traffic/work related.
