Welcome to the most awkward club ever created on Clubhouse. An examination of the latest trends in Clubhouse Culture and etiquette. Our inaugural room was titled: “Clubhouse Culture: hearing yourself speak vs. having a conversation?” In future rooms we hope to tackle urgent issues like: (a) people who do not accept invites to come to the stage; (b) parasailing (the phenomenon of a speaker going off topic for an extended period of time without regard for the rest of the room members); (c) CH husbands and wives; (d) churning (the practice of quickly entering and leaving multiple rooms); (e) rude moderators; (f) portaling (the act of being pulled into a random room by mistaken acceptance of a ping or notice); and, (g) the time honored Clubhouse habits of oversharing personal details and sleeping together in CH rooms. Welcome to the club where awkward people discuss issues exclusive to Clubhouse. Where the glitch is normal and the normal is awkward.
