Country Girl Collective on Clubhouse

The Country Girl Collective is a digital safe space for all my rural representers, but specifically Black women and other women of color who grew up and/or reside in remote areas of the Southeastern US. Whether you still consider yourself a small town girl or have successfully converted into a city girl, this space is for you.

Please note: CGC is also open to anyone who’s interested, but it centers around the rurally raised Black woman experience.

Join us as we have regular chats about what it means to "grow up country" and share how the regions that raised us have impacted our life's trajectory. We will also engage in conversations that destigmatize and demystify what it means to come from the country.

The overall goal of this club is to create a community of women who want to come together to collaborate and create opportunities for girls and young women who are currently "growing up country" and could use resources and support that this could group could eventually provide!

This is truly a SAFE SPACE!: What’s said in the CGC Club should stay in the CGC Club! Sometimes, people may want to use this space to vent about their lives and they should feel confident that they can do that!
