ONE MIC RULE: WE want each person’s voice to be heard. WE wait for the person speaking to finish before unmuting our mics. WE pause to see if others unmute & WE take turns. WE are courteous. WE lead with empathy.
READ THE ROOM: WE pause to listen before joining the stage so that we can conscientiously contribute to the conversation. WE are mindful of our speaking time (2-3 min) and allow others to respond.
🔵 INDIGO ROOM (ps293): WE say our name when we begin so folx who are blind / deaf using transcription can know who is speaking. WE are mindful when addressing trauma to avoid triggering language & offer warnings as needed.
